Apriori are a hard-rock trio from Blackpool who have spent the last decade quietly (and sometimes not so quietly) proving that big songs don’t require big line-ups. Built around driving guitar riffs, anthemic choruses and a distinctive keyboard edge, the band deliver a modern hard-rock sound rooted firmly in classic influences, with no bass player and absolutely no apologies.
The band features vocalist and guitarist Tony Lang, Mouse on drums bringing power and precision in equal measure, and Mark Wilson, whose keyboards add texture, melody and the occasional raised eyebrow from people trying to work out where the low end is coming from. Together, they’ve carved out a sound that’s melodic, punchy and designed for the live stage.
Apriori have built a strong reputation on the UK rock circuit, appearing at festivals including Maid of Stone, HRH, Call of The Wild, Firevolt and Love Rocks. Along the way, the band have picked up airplay from Planet Rock and HRH Radio, plus coverage in Classic Rock Magazine, earning a loyal following of fans who like their rock loud, catchy and delivered without nonsense.
Their third studio album Voodoo Love… marked a major step forward for the band, leading to a successful headline tour and further establishing Apriori as a live act that backs up recorded releases with real onstage energy. Whether in a packed club or on a festival stage, the band’s shows are driven by tight performances, big hooks and an obvious enjoyment of what they do.
Heading into 2026, Apriori are focused on writing new material, playing bigger stages and continuing to refine a sound that sits comfortably between classic hard rock and modern rock muscle. Expect new music, more shows, and a band that still believes rock ’n’ roll should sound powerful, feel fun, and never take itself too seriously.
